['Still Standing' - Alex \ Clara]

Damn time most run differently than in this universe, so like do certain places on Earth move faster than ones in other places or is it like pocket dimensions like in GOW? This is interesting.

At this point in the story, time is normal, the same as our own real world. I'll say that in the second book (work in progress), time is a bit more complicated. But what I meant here is that these two characters were in a war together. And having survived, and seen many young people die suddenly, they feel like their lives could be snatched up just as easily and unceremoniously at any moment. In an extremely intense and stressful moment, time can feel very fast or slow because of adrenaline and compartmentalizing.

If you had a very intense period in your life, and have changed a lot since then, it's easy to feel like that was a lifetime ago, a whole 'other life' if you will. You might feel a disconnect between who you are now and who you were then. It can feel as though you're separate people altogether, different characters.

But I'm not meaning split personality disorder, or anything like that. Just being a bit metaphorical :)

Edit: I guess I should be specific, for starters, I think the fingernail looks a bit off unless her nails are long, they should not reach the tip of her thumb. And I'm not sure about the dress, is the shirt and skirt separated or connected? And finally, I think the collar looks a bit like a turtleneck.

Reasonable crashout, I would be mad too if I was permanently half finished.

Also, nice texturing, actually makes it feel like the huge snake has scales.
