I can see you having potential.

If you want to improve your drawing skills, you need to learn how anatomy works, like for example where the sternum is and how the head is supposed to look like in a side profile.

And I also noticed that your drawings kind of lack dynamic posing, and what I mean by that is that your drawings look kind of flat/lifeless, you can fix that by using perspective.

Drawing is hard but I am glad you are probably not giving up, keep practicing because I sure am and I have like 3 fans on this website, yet I haven't given up.

From what I can gather, long nails in codices often correlate with old characters, as well as sorcerers, wise, or powerful beings like deities. Though it may be just my own impression, that's kind of how I use it in my work.
